Managing the West Coast Wilderness Trail takes a lot of work, including considerable voluntary time. We encourage riders to contribute $10 per rider per day and larger donations are appreciated. We accept donations on our site below and through our page on Givealittle.
Donation Stations set up with contractless credit card swipe devices, are available in several places where donations can also be made. These include:
Greymouth: The Greymouth isite/West Coast Travel Centre, Wilderness Sports & Cycles
Kumara: The Theatre Royal Hotel
Hokitika: The Hokitika isite, Hokitika Cycles and Sports, Kiwi Journeys, the Hokitika Kiwi Holiday Park and The Fire Station.
Other ways to help
Throughout the trail we have donation stations to make it easy to contribute to the trail and its upkeep. You can also show your support for the Trail and give a little back by signing up as a Friend of the Trail today.
Join as an individual, family or company or upsize your membership to Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum. You will receive the option of inclusion in the category chosen on the trail website, you will get trail updates and, from time-to-time those living on the Coast, may receive invitations to assist with whatever project the Trust is working on. What’s important is your support and the money raised will go to assisting the work of the West Coast Wilderness Trail Trust and the trail capital and maintenance project work.
