Trail Alerts

Totara Bridge Closure: Due to the structural condition of the Totara Bridge it has had to be closed. Riders are able to ride down to the bridge from either side but are not be able to cross it as barriers will be in place. This is an unfortunate situation that is outside the control of the Westland District Council and the Council apologises for any inconvenience. Alternative options are being explored.

Trail Detours
 Milltown: Friday 27th February - Due to a private function at Cowboy Paradise tomorrow a detour will be in place. Riders will be directed up the road rather than riding the switchbacks. The detour will be put in place tonight and be removed on Saturday morning.

Hokitika Golf Course: Monday 2nd March – Trees are being felled adjacent to the trail and are likely to impact on the trail. A diversion will be put in place during this time and until they are cleared away.
