Totara Bridge Closure: Due to the structural condition of the Totara Bridge it has had to be closed. Riders are able to ride down to the bridge from either side but are not be able to cross it as barriers will be in place. This is an unfortunate situation that is outside the control of the Westland District Council and the Council apologises for any inconvenience. Alternative options are being explored.

17 February: Trail Detour: Kaniere Water race - due to a slip a detour has been put in place from the Landing at Lake Kaniere to Wards Road. This is well signposted. Please take care on the road.

18th and 19th February: Ross Straight: Paiere Road to Camp Creek - There is also mowing happening on the trail. Please take care in this area.
