The Weirs

ACCESSIBILITY

The main issue to be aware of in this section is the weirs (59km). If there is heavy rain and the rivers in the Kawhaka Pass are in flood, riders will be best to drive to, or pull out at the Old Christchurch Road, depending on the direction riding. The other option is to choose another section and ride this once the water in the weirs has resided (potentially the next day). Please check the banner on the home page of the website and/or the Facebook page to see if there are any alerts before you head out.

Riders are encouraged to continue $10 per rider per day and larger donations are very much welcomed. This is able to be made on directly to the link below.
